REQUIREMENTS FOR CASHING A  PERSONAL OR GOVERNMENT CHEQUE :

We practice and abide by government rules to cash a cheque. The individual should be

  • A resident of Ontario / Alberta.

  • The person Should be present in person to endorse & cash the check.

  • Two (2) Valid IDs with a Minimum of 1 Government-issued Photo ID and 1 Signature ID.
    (Health Card Not Accepted)

  • KYC Form should be duly filled & information should match the ID’s.

WE DO NOT CASH

  • Payroll Checks originating from Non-Established Companies.

  • Hand Written Checks originating from Individuals.

  • Hand Hand-written checks originating from non-established companies.

  • Business Checks originating from Other Non-Established Businesses.

  • Money Orders / Bank Drafts / Foreign Currency Checks.

  • Checks payable from self-owned company to self.

  • Or Post Dated Checks.

OUR POLICY

SUNSHINE PROCESSING GROUP makes it a policy not to conduct transactions for or on behalf of:

Prohibited Cheques We Do Not Cash
 

  1. Adult Entertainment Businesses

  2. ATM Operators, Including Cryptocurrency

  3. Businesses Involved in Counterfeit Goods

  4. Businesses with Overseas Operations

  5. Cannabis Dealers, Agents, or Manufacturers

  6. Charities and Not-for-Profit Organizations (Unregistered or High-Risk)

  7. Direct Marketing or Travel Clubs

  8. Entities Involved in Drugs/Alcohol (Without Proper Licensing)

  9. Gaming and Gambling Industries

  10. Individuals or Entities Under Regulatory Investigation

  11. Individuals or Entities Suspected of Criminal Activity

  12. Individuals or Entities with Positive Matches in Sanctions Screening

  13. Individuals or Entities with Known Criminal Organization Connections

  14. Individuals or Entities with Past NSF, Fraud, or Duplicate Cheque Incidents

  15. Individuals with Inquiries Suggesting Criminal Activity

  16. Investment Services/Clubs

  17. Lawyers (Without Enhanced Due Diligence)

  18. Money Services Businesses (MSBs), Including Cryptocurrency

  19. Mortgage Brokers

  20. Real Estate Brokers and Agents

  21. Shell Companies

  22. Third-Party Cheques

  23. High-Risk Jurisdictions (Countries identified as high-risk for money laundering or terrorism financing)

  24. Political Organizations

  25. Pawnshops or Secondhand Dealers

  26. Private Lenders

  27. Unregulated Crowdfunding Platforms

  28. Cash-intensive businesses (E.g., convenience stores, gas stations, bars)

  29. Entities or Individuals Refusing KYC/AML Requirements

  30. Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
